Informatici Senza Frontiere ONLUS
In a changing world, Informatici Senza Frontiere proposes a new use of the most intelligent, sustainable and supportive technology. It offers its own time, its skills, experiences and IT passions to realize non-profit projects, favoring situations of marginalization and difficulties and emergency situations, in Italy and in developing countries.
It works to bridge the digital divide and to foster a process of growth, individual or group, which leads each person to consciously take advantage of their potential through knowledge and information technologies. It is based on the values of respect for human dignity and solidarity and makes of the words inclusion and development of one's creed.
Founded in 2005, Informatici Senza Frontiere is an ONLUS which today has 10 regional sections, over 300 members, hundreds of projects to its credit and an important presence at the 2013 UN World Summit on ITU as a representative at European level of what the IT can do in the field of disability.
