DRAPAC VPN Project offers FREE VPN support to human rights defenders who are at risk of online censorship and digital surveillance. Through this project, activists in Asia-Pacific can get access keys to Outline servers (https://getoutline.org) maintained by human rights groups and civil society organisations that work in the region. Users can request support by completing a needs assessment with one of the DRAPAC VPN partners on the project website (https://drap.ac/vpn/) or using its chat bot (https://drap.ac/vpn/bot). Once approved, they can access VPN support through the same channels. We prioritise translations into South Asian, Southeast Asian, and East Asian languages including Bengali, Burmese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Hindi, Indonesian, Khmer, Tamil, Thai, and Vietnamese. Translation into other languages such as Arabic, Filipino, French, Malay, Nepali, Russian, and Spanish are welcome, too.
