Security First is an organisation that works to increase the security of human rights defenders – simply and comprehensively. We are building Umbrella, a mobile application that provides all the information and tools needed for a human rights defender to operate safely. With step-by-step processes for every situation from sending a secure email to emergency evacuation – Umbrella will provide human rights defenders with a one-stop-shop for all the latest tools and know-how of how to operate securely as and when they need it.
